Filmstudio Warner Bros kondigde donderdag aan Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in de zomer te zullen uitbrengen. Het zomerseizoen is de beste tijd van het jaar voor een familiefilm, legde Warner Bros president Alan Horn uit. De grote Amerikaanse studio’s maken 40% van hun omzet in de zomer.
De staking van scriptschrijvers in de Verenigde Staten heeft volgens hem ook bijgedragen aan de vertraging.
