Recensie
Johanna, die uit nazi-Duitsland gevlucht is, ontmoet in Finland Ragnar, de broer van haar vriendin. De liefdesrelatie die tussen de twee ontstaat brengt Johanna's politieke verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel in conflict met haar wens naar persoonlijk geluk. Interessant thema naar een roman van Klaus Mann - helaas blijft de filmische realisatie oppervlakkig.
